Biography

Dr. Sutaria grew up in the Queen City, otherwise known as Charlotte, North Carolina. She completed her undergraduate education at UNC Chapel Hill and her doctorate at Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Dr. Sutaria graduated in 2008 with “Highest Honors”, a recognition, awarded to the top 2% of members in her class.

Dr. Sutaria specializes in myopia management for children and is trained in state-of-the-art equipment used to develop a personalized, non-surgical treatment plan for each patient. Dr. Sutaria also performs comprehensive eye exams, including managing & treating ocular disease and contact lens & frame fittings. She is excited about her partnership with Treehouse Eyes in hopes that early intervention with treatment will reduce the progression of myopia in her tiny human patients!

In addition to her practice, Dr. Sutaria is Board Certified in Virginia and is a member of The American Optometric Association, Virginia Optometric Association, and The Northern Virginia Optometric Society.

Residing in Northern VA for over a decade, Dr. Sutaria is a proud mom of two kids, both LCPS students. They keep her very busy, but in her free time she loves baking and crafting!
